The recruitment process for Calloway County Health Department is to advertise all vacant positions that cannot be filled internally in the local newspaper, which is the Murray Ledger and Times.

Applications will only be considered when there is an advertised position. Resumes will not substitute for an application. You can apply for this position online by going to My Kentucky, click on Login and create an account. You will select Citizen or Business Partner and complete the Signup Page. Once you have an account, click on the LHDCOS Search and Apply tab. You will then update your profile and complete the application. College transcripts must be uploaded before the close date of the advertisement. A criminal background check is required prior to interviewing and employment.

For an advertised position, all applications are reviewed and qualified by the Local Health Personnel branch in Frankfort. Once a list of eligible candidates is completed, the health department will complete the selection process. All offers of employment will be contingent upon the completion of required screenings.
